Mississippi Highway Killer May Be Dressed Like Police Officer

The person who shot two people to death along Mississippi highways possibly while dressed as a police officer is likely a meticulous and organized killer who studied police procedures and could soon feel the urge to kill again, according to a serial killer expert."It is not unusual for certain types of killers, particularly organized killers, to have an interest in, and even study, law enforcement practices," Scott A. Unsolved Homicide Heidi Seeman 11yrs old San Antonio Tx 1990

seeman

 HEIDI SEEMAN
Case 90/400893, August 4, 1990
On Saturday, August 4, 1990, after spending the night with a friend, 11-year-old Heidi Seeman was walking home when she was abducted. Her friend, who had walked her halfway home, last saw Heidi at Stahl Rd. and Willow Run, on San Antonio's Northeast side.
A witness in this case described a shiny red car, with tinted windows and a thin red stripe down the side, seen driving in the neighborhood in a suspicious manner, just prior to Heidi Seeman being abducted.
On Saturday, August 25, 1990, the decomposed remains of Heidi Seeman were discovered in an isolated property off County Road 220 in Hays County, Texas. An autopsy performed on the complainant led Medical Examiner Dr. DiMiao to rule the cause of death a homicide.
Over the years several leads have been investigated and suspects developed, but not enough evidence has been found for police to file a case against anyone.
Police are asking for your help in finding the person or persons responsible for this senseless murder of a young girl.

The San Antonio Police Department needs your assistance
in solving these Unsolved Homicide Cold Cases. If you have information that might be useful,
Please call the San Antonio Police Department COLD CASE TIP LINE anytime day or night at 210-207-7401,
or you can call 210-207-7635 or 210-207-7484, or call 210-224-STOP (Crime Stoppers).

VERNON COUNTY, Wis. -- It's a cold case that has left the Vernon County community puzzled for nearly three decades.

In 1984, Sheriffs Deputies found the body of a woman brutally murdered and abandoned on the side of a country road near Westby.

Today, her identity and her killer still remain a mystery, but investigators have never given up hope that one day they can close the case.

It's what some say is as close as it gets to a perfect murder. Jane Doe's killer found what…

What is DNA? Where is DNA Contained in the Human Body? Where Can DNA evidence be found at a crime scene?

WHAT IS DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the fundamental building block for an individual's entire genetic makeup. It is a component of virtually every cell in the human body. Further, a person's DNA is the same in every cell. For example, the DNA in a man's blood is the same as the DNA in his skin cells, semen, and saliva. DNA is a powerful tool because each person's DNA is different from every other individual's, except for identical twins. Because of that difference, DNA collected from a…Continue
